Learn to Play
Kids will learn hockey skills through fun skating drills and games taught by our certified USA Hockey coaches.
We are offering Learn to Play at both Stumptown Ice Den in Whitefish and Woodland Ice Center in Kalispell for conveninece and a higher level of accessibility for families.
STUMPTOWN - LEARN TO PLAY - SESSION #1
Ages
Players age 5 - 9 years old that are new to hockey.
For players 10 years and older and new to hockey, please reach out to our Hockey Director, Brandon Cottrell, for placement.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-5:45pm
8 week session (October 20 - December 10) 8 weeks . *NO CLASSES 11/26.
Must be new to the game with no previous year USA Hockey Confirmation number.
All equipment is provided in the programming cost for new players. Players get to keep all equipment to continue their hockey journey beyond Learn to Play.

You'll receive a link to order all new equipment for your player (cost included in the registration fee) and it will be sent directly to you.
FOR A SECOND ROUND OF LEARNTO PLAY (Player has already completed at least 1 Session of Learn to Play and has their own equipment)
Players will need a current 2026-2027 USA Hockey Membership to register.
